The Barracuda simulator, when combined with the STARS AE software, can be used to cover, , at the very least, the needs of the first 4 hours of driving learning requirements.
The French Minister for the Environment and Sustainable Development, in reply to an application, has, in the light of the simulator’s capacities, confirmed that this simulator can be used to evaluate new learners, as well as for the first 4 hours of step 1 of the French official training program.
Thus, driving schools can use the simulator as part of their training program.

We are particularly pleased that our simulator can be used to teach road safety under environmentally friendly conditions. Using a simulator instead of a real car means that 20 liters of fuel are saved for the first 4 hours of learning alone.

If all driving schools in France had such a simulator, no fewer than 15,000,000 liters of fuel would be saved each year.

The quality and fluidity of the images creates an optimal learning environment. This simulator constantly measures student progress, and facilitates the learning curve. Students can access all learning phases which means that the software can look at the lessons they have completed, and determine their level of diligence. The software also prepares a training report card for each student.

Softwares are also available to simulate emergency situations, emergency braking and drunk driving situations (STARS 0603) for driving schools offering courses to existing license holders.
The simulator is compatible and interfaced with the Ediser PACKWEB+ system, whereby learners results can be pooled for use by instructors.

Using the same access code, learners complete their exercises on the Barracuda, and the instructor retrieves the results (Internet connection or USB key).
